The giant insurance company Cigna is taking another crack at efforts to encourage consumers to learn more about health care.
Last year, Cigna introduced an interactive “e-learning” campaign under the banner of Cigna University. Now, the initiative is called Learn 4 Your Health, housed on a section of the Cigna Web site (cigna.com/learn4your health) and also available on Facebook.
A major difference between this year’s campaign and last year’s is rewards. Cigna is offering “learn and earn” incentives to consumers to take the courses that are part of the curriculum: Watch video clips and get coupons for discounts from marketers and retailers like Barnes & Noble, Costco, Drugstore.com, eMusic, NFLshop.com, ProFlowers, Red Envelope and Sports Authority.
